For the past couple of months I have been asking myself what is Interaction Design? Since I got accepted in to the CCA Master of Interaction Design a lot of people have been asking me the same question. So I had to come up with an easy answer for people who do not understand design terminologies.
Interaction design is the interaction between user and the product. Our goal as interaction designers is to create products that enable the user to achieve their objectives.
In general, interaction design is a very broad field which involves many different elements such as motion, sound, space, and many more.
Our work contains Design strategy (research), Wireframe and prototype, and then Design.
